Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm great little surprise. Guacamole is superb and the tacos ante made perfect. Indulge in the dessert of fried cookie dough! Enjoy!

I'm a big fan of Mexican food, and I frequent Tijuana Flats' many locations often. The customer service is top notch and I have nothing bad to say about the quality of the food. However, for this particular location, it's practically a crime on how little meat they actually put inside for the price they charge. I probably counted 4-6 pieces of small chunks of steak. That just won't do it for a hungry person with a tight budget. I can't make this an option for a day I need to eat a lot of food unless I pig out on chips. Also, what is the harm in providing free salsa with the chips? These small details might make a difference and actually lead to many more regular customers, rather than trying to save by skimping on meat and salsa. All in all, still a great establishment. But those are my two cents!

If you love enormous tacos.....this might just be right for you. The menu is a little convoluted, but there's plenty of staff around to help you navigate it. There are plenty of options and choices for even the finnickiest (?) eater in you. If you go, it's best to eat it there. While they do offer an expedient to go service, the fun is eating it there and watching that one guy put too much explosive salsa on his burrito. Try everything on the menu at least once, you will keep coming back for more and more. Word to the wise..... have plenty of water ready if you're going to explore the salsa bar. Whew!!! Caliente!

This is one of several local fast-casual "Mexican" restaurant chains, but it's definitely one of my preferred choices in that realm. They've got the fairly standard selection of dishes that you've come to expect at these locations, but the service at this particular location is especially good. The staff's been well trained and are exceptionally pleasant and friendly. It starts with a very pleasant ordering experience and continues onto the dining area with staff always floating around to collect finished dishes and offer to refill drinks. Oh, and they've got the coolest hot sauce bar, with probably around 20 options with varying degrees of smiley-to-frowny faces indicating the heat. And an extra side of guac is only a buck!

As this place is near where I work, it isn't unusual to stop by every so often ... Maybe once every six months or so. I'll typically order a burrito, and plaster it with a couple of different hot sauces. The hotter the sauce the better. Love when my eyes water and nose runs. Ha. As my co-workers and I venture out, we always seem to make our way back to this place, which always seems to be jam-packed during the lunch hours with people who look exactly like us.

This is our family's FAVORITE restaurant. We go here probably a little too frequently nowadays. But where else can a family of 6 eat until they're stuffed for $40 including the appropriate tip? Even the diner costs us a considerable amount more than that, and for less food. Now add to that the fact that this restaurant has some of our FAVORITE dishes, and it's pretty much a no brainer. Everyone loves this place, even the baby! And the wait staff is TOPS. Friendly and attentive without coming across as fake or overbearing. Food is prepared and served quickly (even our large order of 5-6 meals) and kids enjoy the atmosphere and music, as do my husband and I. This is really an awesome place. That said, I used to only LIKE this place when all I had had was their tacos (my favorite tacos are still MOEs, sorry!) but once I had their flautas, everything changed. This place shot up on my list of enjoyable places to go to FAVORITE Mexican-Style RESTAURANT. Also, it's worth noting, THIS PLACE IS SO CLEAN! Like the table when you site down is ACTUALLY clean, not like it was wiped down with plain water and a dirty rag, but like it was PROPERLY cleaned and dried before you got there. Their bathrooms are also equally well-decorated and cared for hygienically. I have no complaints. I am, however, SHOCKED that we went tonight--a Saturday night--and when we got there, the place was empty! A few people came in after us, but that was it! I enjoy that the place isn't loud and crowded, but still casual enough to bring kids, but genuinely, between the atmosphere, food, service, and price, it's hard for me to see why it's practically empty every time we go! If you get a chance to stop by, take it. You won't be disappointed.

Food was cold and had no flavor. While i realize there are all these hot sauces to try. Food should still have flavor and be hot when it comes out of the kitchen.

Very kind people working at the place. I was very well served and the food is really good. The sauce is different from everything I ever tried.

Service is always friendly and they never mess up my takeout order, which has happened all too often at other takeout establishments. Sometimes they can be skimpy in the cheese, sour cream or salsa verde, but overall great food, service, and atmosphere.

They should be call "weak sauce". I'm not a picky guy but... I happen to be there for Taco Tuesday. The lady suggested the tacos, I got chicken and beef. The hard shells are bought out of a box, the meat lacks flavor and the cheese is bought from a pre- shredded bag. The sauce bar is full of sauces that look like and taste like buffalo wing suave. Not salsa or Mexican chili. Over pric

You really can't beat Taco Tuesday! $4.99 for two tacos, a drink and chips. Even more unbeatable if they mess up and accidentally give you two orders (that is 4 tacos!) for the price of one. They would get all 5 stars even if that little mix up didn't ensue, but I am just really excited about it.. and really full. This location is the least busiest I've been to which makes it great for grabbing a quick lunch and then heading back to the office. I wish I had more time to sit and eat though because I really like the ambiance here and I know it's weird that a "fast food" Mexcian place can offer up any kind of setting, but the funny bumper stickers, graffitied walls, colored lights and neon decor really offer the establishment some spunk. It's very clean too. I thoroughly enjoy the hot sauce bar with its plethora of choices. Smack my ass and call my Sally. Will do. The food is great and the prices are suited for the thrifty soul. Tijuana Flats offers daily specials that are a great buys and will get you super full on a dime. The chips here are some of my favorite, flavorful and crispy. If there is a long line, someone will come buy and offer you a drink as you wait. The service is friendly and they never give you a hard time about changing things up a bit. 5 stars on food, bang for your buck, and service.

Taco Tuezdays and Thurrito Thursdays!! Great deals, consistantly great food (although if you take it to go, those tacos get cold REALLY fast). I'm a super fan!

Have to reiterate what others gave said about the device at this location, it's great! Food quality/taste has been very consistent. Unlike the Pompano location, Cherry Coke is available here. Parking can be an annoyance as there are only a few spots directly next to this location, and the rest require you to cross a parking lot thoroughfare that services the immediately adjacent Publix shopping plaza.

Yummy burritos & friendly service. :) I stopped in when we were in the area, since we like the TF in Springs, and this one no disappointment! I will remember this location if I am down there (and hungry) again!

Great service and great food! I have never had anything on the menu that isn't delicious! Every time we have people in to town to visit this is definitely a stop for lunch.

I went there for some takeout on a Friday night. We ordered a burrito and some tacos, both with roast pork. The meat was ice cold, and we were sick all night. Avoid this place at all costs!

I can never complain about Tijuana Flats. I've never had a bad experience. They are all very nice, the food is great. The service is very good and quick. It's the best Mexican food around to me that is technically fast food. I've done Qdobe, Taco Bell, Chipotle, and a host of others and this is just delicious. Taco Tuesday for $4.99, the tacos are huge. You need to eat 10 of them at Taco Bell for this feeling. And the flavor is WAY better at TF.

I love Tijuana Flats and this location is no exception. I don't really care for Mexican food normally, but everything from Tijuana Flats is so good. The service is great and I love the lemonade and especially their ice! And of course the hot sauce is amazing!

A nice spot to get good food quickly. Although I don't consider it authentic Mexican food it's a million times better then Taco Bell. I really am pleased with the service especially with the manager he came by twice to check up on us to make sure that we were quite happy with our meals. I am a fan and I plan to come back.

Great little place. Service is friendly. I love the hot bar. You can choose your hot sauce with several different choices. Guacamole is super yum.

There is nothing wrong or shameful in going to TJ's for some Americanized Mex food. The taco's are good and the hot bar has some damn good sauces to sample, in some very undersized cups. Of course there are some full sized bottles for sale behind the counter at retail price of course. This place is new, so the inside is very clean and artistically decorated. Very cool lighting and decorative motif. I can never say anything bad about the service at any TJ locations, friendly service must be apart of their protocol. If your in the mood for some Taco Bell, but want a more gourmet version of it, then hit up some TJ's for some tasty Americanized Mex. No shame in that!

As the mayor of this Tijuana Flats, it is a definite Go-to whenever I'm in the need for cheap yet decent mexican... which is often. Taco Tuesdaze is a must which is $4.99 for 2 tacos of beef, chicken or beans with chips and unlimited refills on sodas. I highly recommend blackened chicken on wheat, with everything power lite (light cal cheese and sour cream). If coming on Tuesday, I highly recommend showing up right before noon or after 1pm. That 12-1 time is a killer and the line is usually out the door. Even with their fast service, it's usually a 10-15 min wait, but if you get there after noon on Tuesday you could be waiting longer. All Tijuana Flats have spunky tatted up girls as servers and are usually super friendly when they serve you at the table. TF has a fantastic hot sauce bar if you like the spicy stuff however their Endorphine Rush and ghost chili XXX sauces are serious burn your mouth off stuff on the scoville scale so beware! Otherwise - kick back, and enjoy one of my favorite places!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
